Padang Beach or popularly known as Taplau is a beach located in the city of Padang, West Sumatra, Indonesia. The beach is in a dense urban area of West Padang district and extends from Purus to Batang Arau estuary.

Padang Padang Beach is located at the village of Pecatu on the south-west coastline of the Bukit Peninsula. It’s a 20-to-30-minute drive from the Bali International Airport and a quick 10-minute drive from the cliff temple of Uluwatu.

the beach is easy to access by car or scooter, there is a car park 100 meters from the entrance. You will only have to walk less than 5 minutes to get to the beach.
When?
However, best time for beaches, Swimming, and Suntanning in Bali: April to October are the sunniest driest months with lots of sun.
