What?
Tegenungan Waterfall is a waterfall in Bali, Indonesia. It is located at the village of Tegenungan Kemenuh, also known as Kemenuh Village on the Petanu River, north from the capital Depensar and close to the Balinese Artist village of Ubud. The waterfall is isolated but has become a popular tourist attraction. It is one of the few waterfalls in Bali that is not situated in highlands or mountainous territory. The amount and clarity of the water at the site depend on rainfall but it contains green surroundings with fresh water that can be swim in. The waterfall includes varying highs that can be climbed after the descent downstairs to reach it. This attraction also features a viewing point to the jungle and waterfall at the main entrance.

Tegenungen Waterfall is roughly a 30-minute drive from Ubud and around an hour drive from Seminyak or Canggu.
How?
You can go there by scooter or by car. The access is easy for all types of vehicles including minibuses. The roads that give access to the waterfall are sublime.
When?
The best time to visit Tegenungan Waterfall is probably in the evening to have the best colors to give you the most exceptional show. If you go in the morning, the light will be too bright. The photographers in the heart may be a little frustrated. The afternoon is also a good time to enjoy the beauty of the site, but it is their peak time.
How much?
The entry fee is 20,000 Rph or about $1.3. The parking was free when we went there but this is likely to change
